Nevada native Brandon Flowers can finally look on the bright side in Las Vegas.

After nearly a year on the market, the Killers frontman has sold his Mediterranean-style retreat in Sin City for $4.5 million. Records show he first listed the home last April for $4.95 million.

Wood-beamed ceilings and arched doorways accent roughly 8,300 square feet of rustic interiors.

Floors of tile and hardwood line the main floor, where living spaces include a formal dining room and center-island kitchen. Two winding staircases lead upstairs, where the master suite offers a fireplace and private terrace. Including the detached guesthouse, there are six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms.

A two-story wall of windows looks onto a private courtyard set next to a hedge-lined pool and spa. The grounds total nearly an acre.

Flowers bought the estate in 2010 for $3.995 million, according to public records.

Zar Zanganeh of Luxe Estates & Lifestyles was the listing agent. Colleen Garcia of Urban Nest Realty represented the buyer.

Flowers, 36, co-founded the Killers in 2001 with guitarist Dave Keuning. The rock band’s hits include “Somebody Told Me,” “When You Were Young” and “Mr. Brightside,” which holds the record for most weeks on the U.K. Singles Chart.
