Ex-reality TV star Lauren Conrad buys Pacific Palisades house
Fashion designer and TV personality Lauren Conrad of “The Hills” fame has bought a house in Pacific Palisades for $4.4 million.
The 29-year-old former reality TV star’s new Mediterranean digs were built in 2004 and are set on more than an acre in a gated community. Vaulted ceilings, wide plank floors, archways and French doors are among the details.
Formal living and dining rooms lead to a combination kitchen/breakfast room/family room. The 5,871 square feet of living space includes an office, a playroom, five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and a powder room.
The swimming pool has a treehouse-style waterslide, a waterfall and a spa. The park-like yard contains two patios and a built-in barbecue.
Hat tip goes to Variety for spotting the purchase by Conrad, who owns other properties in Los Angeles and Orange counties. She first gained widespread notice for her work on “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.” “The Hills” was a spin-off show.
Michael Edlen of Coldwell Banker was the listing agent.
