The longtime home and remodeling project of interior designer Craig Wright, whose clientele includes Michael Douglas, Dan Aykroyd and Lynda Resnick, is on the market for the first time in nearly 20 years.

Listed at $7.995 million, the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom Spanish Colonial is set in Hollywood Hills above the Sunset Strip.

After buying the home in 1999, Wright started a decade-long remodel. He sought inspiration from the Andalusia, a historic 1920s apartment complex in Hollywood where he’d lived for the past decade, according to Architectural Digest.

Hand-crafted moldings, bronze-casted heating grates, arched doorways and cove ceilings highlight 6,550 square feet of interiors. A formal dining room leads to the kitchen, which is outfitted with stone countertops and floor-to-ceiling subway tile.

The highlight of the home is a two-story library lined with dark hardwood. The room features a fireplace and wet bar, and a chandelier hangs overhead.

Large windows throughout the living spaces let in light and provide views of the grounds, where landscaping accents a courtyard with a pool.

Wright bought the property nearly two decades ago for $1 million, records show.

Sally Forster Jones, Bryce Lowe and Kirby Gillon of John Aaroe Group hold the listing.
