Paul Marciano, co-founder and former chief executive of the Guess clothing brand, has sold his estate in Beverly Hills for $18.25 million in a deal finalized off-market.
Set behind gates on about an acre of grounds, the Mediterranean-style home includes such features as arched French doors, scaled formal rooms and a vaulted entry. A lower-level lounge is equipped with cigar and wine rooms. The oversized kitchen centers on a broad island.
Including a pair of staff quarters, there six bedrooms and six bathrooms within 9,142 square feet of living space. The second-story master suite opens to a private balcony overlooking the backyard.
Outside, lush landscaping surrounds a swimming pool with a tiled spa. A motor court sits beyond the double-gated entrance.
Marciano co-founded the denim powerhouse Guess Jeans with his brothers in 1981. He stepped down from his position as chief executive of the fashion firm two years ago.
He bought the property nearly two decades ago for $5.125 million, records show. In recent years the estate was leased out for as much as $55,000 a month.
