Times’ NFL power rankings: Falcons remain No. 1; Jets tumble

The Times’ NFL power rankings after Week 4 have been released, and while the top and bottom teams remain the same, there are quite a few changes in between.

The Atlanta Falcons remain on top after a 30-28 victory over No. 23 Carolina, and Cleveland remains at the bottom after a 23-16 loss to No. 4 Baltimore.

The biggest gainer? The Washington Redskins jumped six spots to No. 19 after a 24-22 win over No. 25 Tampa Bay. The St. Louis Rams rose five spots, from No. 23 to No. 18, after a 19-13 victory over No. 13 Seattle.

The biggest losers? Look no further than New York, where the Giants fell from No. 5 to No. 11 after a 19-17 loss to No. 9 Philadelphia, and the Jets fell from No. 16 to No. 22 after a 34-0 loss to No. 5 San Francisco.

The three undefeated teams hold down the top three spots (No. 1 Atlanta, No. 2 Houston and No. 3 Arizona), while of the two winless teams, New Orleans is No. 17 and Cleveland is last at No. 32.
