Houston Mitchell is an assistant sports editor, writer of the Dodgers Dugout newsletter and editor of all of the sports newsletters for the Los Angeles Times. Mitchell was born in Redondo Beach and has lived in the Los Angeles area his entire life. He has worked for The Times since 1991 and hopes no one ever figures out that he gets paid to watch and write about sports for a living.
