True Religion co-founder Kym Gold sizes up the Encino housing market

Kym Gold, who co-founded clothing brand True Religion, has put her East Coast-inspired home on the market in Encino for $9.995 million.

The Traditional-style estate was built in 2015 by Jon Goldstein, a Calabasas-based homebuilder whose high-end works have attracted celebrities such as Miles Teller, Loni Anderson and Rodney Carrington.

Navy-blue garage doors and plantation shutters accent the wide front of the home for a classic look. Inside, a chandelier-topped entry, a living room, formal dining room, chef’s kitchen, six bedrooms and nine bathrooms are included in 8,545 square feet of living space.

French doors next to the breakfast nook open to a covered patio. The grounds, which total around three-quarters of an acre, also hold a swimming pool and spa, a fire pit, a garden and a two-story guesthouse.

Anthony Paradise of Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.

Gold bought the house in 2015 for $6.3 million, The Times previously reported. Three years ago, she sold a stylish Spanish-style spread in Malibu for $18.45 million.

Gold co-founded True Religion alongside her then-husband, Jeff Lubell, in 2002. Three years later, the clothing brand’s flagship store debuted in Manhattan Beach.
