True Religion co-founder Kym Gold moves her designer wares to Encino
True Religion jeans co-founder Kym Gold, who in November sold her home in Malibu for $18.45 million, has bought a newly built house in Encino for $6.3 million.
Designed by Meyer Architecture, the Traditional-style home has an East Coast vibe with slatted wall siding, large picture windows, plantation shutters and a pitched roofline with vertical slat vents.
Two floors of interiors include a formal dining room, a chef’s kitchen, a library/study, six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. There are fireplaces in the family and living rooms as well as the master suite.
In all, the home has about 7,200 square feet of living space.
A swimming pool and spa, formal landscaping and a lawn area make up grounds of about three-quarters of an acre. A three-car garage sits off the front of the home.
James Pearson and Steve Shanks of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties were the listing agents. Anthony Paradise and Amy Alcini of Sotheby’s International Realty represented Gold.
Gold, 49, co-founded the True Religion brand with her then-husband, Jeffrey Lubell, in 2002. She currently works as a business consultant and is the author of “Gold Standard: How to Rock the World and Run an Empire.”
