Comic-actor Ken Jeong finds a buyer for Mediterranean home in Calabasas
The doctor is no longer in the house.
Ken Jeong, the comic-actor-physician of “Community” and “Dr. Ken” fame, has sold his home in Calabasas for $2.4 million.
Built in 2006, the Mediterranean-style two-story features an interior courtyard, high ceilings and dual master suites.
The 4,932 square feet of interior space includes a vaulted entry that opens to a living and dining room with a fireplace. A long island with a floating range anchors the kitchen, which adjoins the family room. There are built-in bookshelves in the library, and the breakfast room is equipped with a wine chiller.
A covered patio space and expansive decking create additional living space outdoors. Gardens, lawn and a built-in barbecue station complete the grounds.
The property previously sold in 2010 for $1.635 million, public records show.
Anat Erster of White House Properties was the listing agent. Hannah Yin of RE/MAX Olson & Associates represented the buyer.
Jeong, 48, got his start in theater and improv before landing TV appearances on “The Office” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” He has film credits that include “The Hangover” trilogy, “Pineapple Express” (2008) and “Zookeeper” (2011).
This year he starred opposite David Hasselhoff in the action-comedy “Killing Hasselhoff.”
