Deal: San Diego’s Kids Go Free offer means free entry or free eats at 100-plus places
Every October, San Diego museums and attractions give kids a break. It’s a great way to score free tickets for the little ones to places like Legoland California, SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo.
The deal: Kids Go Free represents good savings for families who are on the go this month. Browse the website to find coupons for places you want to visit.
More than 100 sites, including museums in Balboa Park, boat rides in San Diego Bay, and area restaurants, participate in the monthlong promotion.
Here’s how some freebies stack up:
Legoland California: Children 3 to 12 receive a One-Day Child Hopper pass (which costs $92 regularly online) free with each adult One-Day Hopper pass ($98).
SeaWorld San Diego: Children 3 to 9 receive a free single-day ticket ($89.99) with each adult ticket ($93). Also the Dolphin Interaction ($215 each) is free with a paying adult too for ages 10 to 12.
San Diego Zoo and Safari Park: Kids 11 and younger get a free pass ($40) to the zoo, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year. There are extra activities on weekends too.
USS Midway: Two children 6 to 12 enter free (usually $8 each online) with one paying adult ($18 online).
When: The offer is good through Oct. 31.
