Dodgers vs. Angels: Who has the better player at each position?
We are about a week away from the MLB All-Star game, so what better time to decide which local team has the better player at each position?
In a series of polls, pick the player you think is better at each position. Voting will be open until Tuesday at noon, then we will announce the results.
A couple of notes:
Even though J.B. Shuck has played more games than Peter Bourjos for the Angels this year, we are listing Bourjos since he would be the everyday center fielder if he wasn’t on the DL. Also, since the Dodgers effectively have four outfielders, we have taken one of them, Yasiel Puig, and listed him as a designated hitter, even though the NL does not have a DH. In each category, the Dodgers player is listed first.
