No. 7: Jonathan Quick (62 first-place votes, 4,022 points)

Wow, just imagine how high he would have finished if we held off voting until after the Stanley Cup Final ended?

Quick was named the greatest Kings player of all time by 62 people, but he was left off more than half the ballots, with many commenting that they would like to vote for him but he hasn’t been with the team long enough.

Quick made the top 10 basically on his play this season. He has been nominated for the Vezina Trophy as the league’s best goaltender, led the league with 10 shutouts, had the second-lowest goals-against average with 1.95, and posted a 35–21–13 record.

He also stood strong in the net as the Kings defeated the top three seeded teams in the Western Conference Final and then defeated the New Jersey Devils in the Stanley Cup Final.

Quick was named the Conn Smythe Trophy, which is given to the MVP of the playoffs, after the victory over the Devils. He had a 16-4 record with a 1.41 GAA and three shutouts in the playoffs.
