Mike Singletary hired by Rams as an advisor on defense
Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary is coming to Los Angeles to work for the Rams.
Singletary told radio station WSCR-AM in Chicago on Tuesday that he will work with the defense in an advisory role.
Singletary was a linebackers assistant for the Minnesota Vikings from 2011 to 2013. He served as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers from 2008 to 2010 before being fired after compiling an 18-22 record.
He is still best known as a standout for the Chicago Bears from 1981 to 1992.
