Staples Center is ranked NBA’s second-best arena
Staples Center is the second-best arena in the NBA, according to Stadium Journey.
Home of the Lakers and Clippers, Staples Center “has seemingly become the basketball capital of the world.”
Stadium Journey credits the arena for its ability to host multiple games on the same day, as well as acting “as the keystone of the downtown revitalization.”
The San Antonio Spurs just swept the Lakers out of the first round of the playoffs. San Antonio’s AT&T; Center also beats out Staples Center as the top arena in the league.
The Amway Center in Orlando came in third.
Stadium Journey considered a variety of factors in their evaluation including food and beverage, atmosphere, neighborhood, fans, access, “return on investment” and uniqueness.
