Lance Armstrong-inspired graffiti art pops up around Los Angeles
Street graffiti art inspired by Lance Armstrong is drawing notice as it pops up around Los Angeles.
Over the last week, a stenciled, spray-painted image of a cyclist wearing a yellow jersey and riding a bike while hooked up to an IV has turned up in different locations, mainly in the Melrose area.
At first, the street art was attributed to Banksy, but a representative of Banksy released a statement saying the British artist has nothing to do with it.
So the real artist remains a mystery. Greg LeMond? OK, probably not.
Armstrong admitted last week to using performance-enhancement techniques during all seven of his Tour de France victories. The winner of the Tour de France wears a yellow jersey.
