Maloy Moore is a former researcher and data reporter at the Los Angeles Times. She joined The Times in 1990 and worked on many widely recognized projects including “California’s dizzying road to reopening,” “L.A. police killings: Tracking D.A. decisions since 2004,” “How eight elite San Francisco families funded Gavin Newsom’s political ascent” and the “The Homicide Report.” She retired in 2022.
