The woman was coming home from a club about 3 a.m. and parked her car near a driveway in the 6800 block of 11th Avenue when the gunshots rang out.

At least 15 bullets pierced the woman’s car doors and windows, KTLA reported.

The woman, in her 40s, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital. She was in stable condition Wednesday morning, Jefferson said.

No one has been arrested in the shooting. It was unclear if the shooting was related to gang activity.

It comes a day after the Los Angeles Police Department’s top brass addressed concerns about the violence that erupted over the weekend. Police said 19 people were shot, five of them fatally.
