CicLAvia comes to Southeast L.A. on Sunday
Reporting from — In a first for Southeast Los Angeles, the popular bicycle festival known as CicLAvia will close streets to cars and open them for cyclists, walkers and skaters from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Streets in Huntington Park, Walnut Park, South Gate, Florence-Firestone, Lynwood and Watts are included in the festival, which encourages people to do without their cars for a day and rediscover their community on other wheels -- or none at all.
