Body found inside car in Tujunga Wash
Authorities on Thursday were investigating how a car wound up crashed in Tujunga Wash in Studio City with a body inside, and how that person died.
The car was discovered about 7:15 a.m. Thursday morning in the concrete-lined stream off the northbound 101 Freeway near 4305 Vineland Ave., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Humphrey said it was unclear how or when the car went into the wash, but added that there was “no obvious collision on the freeway.”
The body was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated. The identity of the victim has not been given.
