Two men shot and wounded in Venice; LAPD seeks suspects
Two men were shot and sustained injuries that were not life-threatening when gunfire broke out in Venice’s Oakwood Neighborhood, police said Tuesday night.
Multiple gunshots were reported around 8:15 p.m. in the 800 block of Indiana Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Police vehicles quickly swarmed the area and an LAPD helicopter circled overhead as officers began gathering evidence, a witness told The Times.

The two victims were taken to hospitals. “They are going to be fine,” Officer Drake Madison said.
He said there were two to five suspects who reportedly fled in either a silver or black vehicle.
In the last week, at least two violent crimes and 28 property crimes have been reported in Venice, according to The Times’ Mapping L.A. database.
