‘Game of Thrones’ and Ommegang beer tap takeover at Plan Check

Plan Check Kitchen + Bar is teaming up with New York Brewery Ommegang for a two-week tap takeover at the restaurant’s Fairfax location.

From Saturday to April 6, the restaurant will pour eight of Ommegang’s Belgian-style craft beers and a flight of five for $8. Beers include the Abbey Ale, Hop House Pale Ale, 3 Philosophers Quadruple, Rare Vos Amber Ale, Witte, Glimmerglass (available April 1) and a new limited release chocolate dessert beer called Chocolate Indulgence.

On Saturday the restaurant is celebrating the Dodgers opener with an all-day happy hour and complimentary Ommegang Witte and beer nuts for the table with the purchase of an entree. Chef Ernesto Uchimura has also created a Tommy Lasorda burger.

On April 6, the restaurant is holding a “Game of Thrones” event for the fourth season premiere of the HBO show with the debut of the new “Game of Thrones” Fire & Blood beer, inspired by Daenerys Targaryen and her three dragons. Fans who purchase the beer on that day will receive a limited edition beer stein. You can also order a “Game of Thrones” burger.
