Stars of fashion, film and art celebrate DVF’s ‘Journey of a Dress’

Diane von Furstenberg’s “Journey of a Dress” exhibition opening party Friday night at the May Co. Building in Los Angeles was a collision of stars of every order, from the fashion, film, finance and art worlds.
Many guests, including Paris Hilton, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Rooney Mara, Allison Williams, Demi Moore and Rachel Zoe, came wearing versions of Von Furstenberg’s iconic wrap dress, which is being celebrated in the exhibition open from Jan. 11 to April 1.

And everyone who had the chance wanted to pose with the woman of the hour in front of her famous Andy Warhol Pop Art portraits, Bezos included.
Also at the bash, which featured a disco lounge inspired by Von Furstenberg’s old haunt Studio 54, were: the designer’s husband, media mogul Barry Diller; her son Alexander von Furstenberg; daughter Tatiana von Furstenberg; her former daughter-in-law Alexandra von Furstenberg; pop stars Iggy Azalea and Joe Jonas; TV personalities Andy Cohen, Anderson Cooper and Seth Meyers; actor Tobey Maguire and his wife, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer; shoe designers Christian Louboutin and George Esquivel; fashion designers Monique Lhuillier and JC Obando; artists Konstantin Kakanias and Dustin Yellin; L.A. County Museum of Art Director Michael Govan and his wife, Katherine Ross; models Erin Wasson and Coco Rocha and more.
