Robin Thicke’s campaign to win back his wife keeps rolling.

After commenting publicly on numerous occasions that he hoped to reunite with Paula Patton following the couple’s recent separation, Thicke took to the Billboard Music Awards last month to debut a new song called “Get Her Back.”

A gentle soul ballad in the style of his Patton-inspired 2007 hit “Lost Without U,” “Get Her Back” finds the singer regretting a whole host of marital offenses, including raising his voice, making his wife feel small, even asking her to do anything at all.

“I should have kissed you longer / I should have held you stronger,” he croons over a delicate guitar figure, “And I’ll wait for forever for you to love me again.”

Now Thicke is upping his apology game: According to Us Weekly, his new album will bear no less of a title than “Paula.”

Due out July 1, the disc will feature “Get Her Back” and was written and produced entirely by Thicke. That’s a shift from last year’s “Blurred Lines,” for which Thicke recruited such radio-pop rainmakers as Pharrell Wiliams, Dr. Luke and will.i.am.

But then those guys couldn’t keep Thicke’s lady from leaving.
