Ne-Yo and his new bride, Crystal Renay, welcome a baby boy

"Let Me Love You" has likely taken on new meaning for Ne-Yo now that his family has grown by one.
The "So Sick" singer and his new wife, Crystal Renay, have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy nicknamed "Prince," who touts daddy's full name.

Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr., or SJ for short, clocked in at 6 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 19 inches in length, Renay shared Wednesday on Instagram, posting a photo clutching the little guy's hand at the hospital.
In the post, the new mom also described her difficult delivery, which required an emergency C-section.
"It was the scariest delivery ever and I ended up getting a emergency C-section cause of complications but with the help of my amazing doctor @drsherryr and my super calming husband @neyo I was able to get through it all and come out with best reward in the world... SJ!!!!! #BestDayOfMyLife," the model-actress added.
It's the third child for the 36-year-old R&B singer: Ne-Yo has two children — son Mason Evan Smith and daughter Madilyn Grace Smith — with his ex-fiancee, Monyetta Shaw.
In August, he took to social media to clarify where things stand with Shaw and Renay, and announce that he and Renay were engaged and expecting.

"Clearing the air..@mscrystalrenay and I are ENGAGED to be married next year. And yes we are expecting. #FromTheHorsesMouth," the showman wrote in the first of a series of tweets.
"The Wiz Live!" star then posted a pic of his fiancee holding a photograph in which he appears to be clutching her belly. The caption read "Surprise!!!!!!!!!!!"
The pair ultimately tied the knot when Renay was eight months pregnant, saying "I Do" in L.A. last month. Renay has been busy posting wedding snaps and several baby bump photos since. Scroll down to check out a few.
