Kylie Jenner rocks green hair; Kris Jenner calls lip injections a mistake
Kylie Jenner has minted a new look: Yup, it’s mint green hair.
After hanging with designer Vera Wang with more natural hair backstage at the designer’s New York Fashion Week show Tuesday, the youngest Jenner found time to undergo a Technicolor transformation in time to walk a red carpet Wednesday, with the new look courtesy of stylist Tokyo Stylez.
Remaining the same: her filler-injected lips, which apparently caused problems between her and her mom, Kris Jenner.
Turns out Kris hadn’t given give Kylie, then 17, permission to plump her pout.
“I am from the generation that in my day, I mean, some of this stuff did not exist for sure, but I don’t think I did one thing physically to myself until I was in my 50s,” the elder Jenner told “Access Hollywood.” “So I am thinking ... why, why? Why do you need to do that?”
But all things pass. “I got really upset,” Kris said, “and then it was done, and I had to let it go.” She said she loves Kylie, but added, “We make mistakes.”
Sister Khloe Kardashian was more sanguine when Kylie’s lip truth was outed in a May episode of the family’s reality show.
“Kylie decided to plump her lips, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that,” Kardashian said on the show. “I think if you’ve done something, though, it is right to cop up to it. If you avoid a question, you’re going to look like a liar.”
But when it comes to the hair, no questions or answers are needed.
It’s green.
