Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard parody ‘Africa’ music video on Africa vacation; Toto approves
When Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard do Africa, they do “Africa.”
When they vacationed on that continent before having their two daughters, the adorable celebrity duo created their own music video to Toto’s 1982 hit song, complete with wildlife scenes and erratic dancing.
“Since nobody really wants to see the album of your vacation photos... Introducing: the #VacationMusicVideo africa,” the 35-year-old “Frozen” actress tweeted Wednesday with the video link.

“This was our last trip before having kids. Our sole objective was to rage hard and honor Toto properly. Hope you enjoy :) “ Shepard, 41, wrote on YouTube. (Bell and the “Parenthood” star welcomed daughters Lincoln and Delta in March 2013 and December 2014, respectively.)
While there weren’t any librarians, 1980s eyeglasses or book motifs this time around, the couple did have a good ol’ dance party on safari as they visited sites populated by wild animals. They did the Running Man in front of some hippos, used spears as guitars and did some impressively emo lip-syncing. Shepard also has an extended scene in a bathtub. We won’t ask why.
The Grammy Award-winning band also gave the twosome its blessing, tweeting “#CoupleGoals Approved” as the video went viral.
