Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard welcome their second daughter
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are parents two times over, having welcomed their second daughter on Friday.
“Delta Bell Shepard is here,” the 39-year-old “Parenthood” actor said on Twitter that evening. “She doesn’t look like either @IMKristenBell or me, but we’re gonna keep her anyway. #christmascameearly.”
Smart move, as those kidlets do not come with gift receipts ...
“The estrogen has now hit critical mass! Good luck, @daxshepard1. And welcome to the world DELTA BELL SHEPARD :),” the “Veronica Mars” star added minutes later, riffing off the celeb-tastic tradition of tweeting a tease pic of a newborn’s tiny hand wrapped around a doting parent’s finger: She included a shot that appears to show the tenderly embracing mitts of big and little gorillas. Or maybe orangutans. Or -- perhaps the hands belong to chimpanzees?
In any case, that primate mama was not sharing a full photo of her infant, much like wee Delta’s parents, who’ve been strong supporters of the “No-Kids Policy” regarding unauthorized pics of celebrities’ children.
Bell, 34, followed up with a couple of tweets in support of childhood vaccines.
Big sis Lincoln Bell Shepard was born in March 2013. The couple confirmed the pending arrival of Baby No. 2 in June.
