Halle Berry, Olivier Martinez expecting a baby boy
Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are having a baby boy. Can you say baby boy Berry Martinez five times fast?
The Oscar-winning actress’ fiance, a French actor, confirmed the news to People on Wednesday.
“My son will be an American, but I remain French,” Martinez told the mag while visiting Paris.

Martinez, 47, and Berry, 46, confirmed their baby news in April just as Berry set off to film “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” They previously would not comment on early reports that they were expecting a boy.
It will be the couple’s first child together, though Berry has a young daughter, Nahla, with her ex-boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubrey. Martinez currently lives with Berry in the States.
Martinez spilled the beans during opening night of the Champs-Elysees film festival. He’s the festival’s honorary president this year, People said. The actor also noted that walking the red carpet in France isn’t as widely touted as it is for celebrities in the U.S.

“I’m French — it’s less important,” he added. “Meaning, I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there — but I’m still a foreigner.”
But he doesn’t expect his future son to have the same problems.
“My son will be an American,” he said again.
The actress, who will be a guest of honor at the festival, previously shared how great she was feeling with the pregnancy.
“I feel fantastic,” she said of her pregnancy in April. “This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth. Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.”
No word yet on the due date, but it is clear that the the actress has no problem flaunting her sprouting baby bump.
