The supermodel-on-the-rise, who is the face of the lingerie brand’s youth-oriented Pink label, took to Twitter and Instagram to magnify her elation after Victoria’s Secret shared footage from her runway audition on social media.

"We [love] surprises so here's a BIG one for @GiGiHadid at the #VSFashionShow castings! See you on the runway, Gigi" the company tweeted, posting the video of her black bra-and-panty-clad audition and Chief Marketing Officer and executive producer Ed Razek giving her the final greenlight. That's when the 20-year-old gets teary-eyed on the runway.
#ModelingGoals, amiright? To think, this comes just a month after she blasted body shamers for criticizing her look.
"If you don't like it, don't follow me, don't watch me, cause I'm not going anywhere," she said at the time. "If I didn't have the body I do, I wouldn't have the career I do. I love that I can be sexy. I'm proud of it."

In another post, Hadid highlighted a friend's 2011 memory of them videochatting while wearing Victoria's Secret bras and watching that year's fashion show. They fantasized about one day being part of the event and even practiced their runway struts during commercial breaks.
Hadid's younger sister Bella, who is also a model, gave her sis a shout-out too, telling her she's the "most hardworking woman" she knows: "Knowing how much you wanted this makes me smile even bigger. You are my inspiration!" she wrote.
And the gushing didn't stop there...
"I'm so overwhelmed with joy, it won't stop bringing me to tears. Thank you all for your love & support. On cloud nine. #VSFashionShow2015," she tweeted later.
Come Nov. 10, Kendall Jenner's gal pal and Joe Jonas' girlfriend will be strutting her stuff in the annual panty parade alongside these glittery catwalk vets: Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge. The edited telecast airs on CBS on Dec. 8 with musical guests Selena Gomez, Rihanna and The Weeknd, the latter of whom happens to be Bella Hadid's boyfriend.
