“I’m so happy to make Eve my wife,” the groom told E! “The whole experience has been amazing, and we are both so happy to have tied the knot.”
The couple said “I do” at that locale because it marked the end of this year’s motor rally. Eve and Cooper met at Gumball 3000 in 2010, and “it only seemed right to have the wedding at the finish of this year’s rally in Ibiza,” Cooper said.
“We couldn’t be happier to celebrate such a special day with all our family and friends,” he added.
The “Animal” star, 35, wore a high-neck gown by Alice Temperley and carried a bouquet of pink roses, as seen in a jubilant pic obtained by E!
Eve also shared a snapshot from the post-nuptial celebrations on Instagram.
“Best night ever!!! #THEMRS #friends #family #love,” she wrote, captioning a group photo.
New mom Lil’ Kim tweeted her congratulations to the new Mrs., with whom she previously collaborated.
“Congratulations to my sis @TheRealEve and her new husband @mrgumball3000 on their new and beautiful marriage!!!” Kim wrote. Eve replied with, “Thanku xoxo!”
It’s the first marriage for the rapper and the second for Cooper, who has four children from a previous union.
Cooper, also a fashion designer, popped the question on Christmas Day 2013. A few days later, the “Barbershop” actress took to Twitter to share her excitement.
“Thanku 2 everybody 4 your congratulations on our engagement!” she tweeted. “We wanted to celebrate with our family and friends 1st b4 announcing.”
Eve, who released her fourth studio album, “Lip Lock,” last year after a decade-long hiatus, opened up about her relationship with Cooper to E! host Chelsea Handler.
“I’ve never been the type of person to discriminate. But I honestly have to say I never thought I’d be with a white guy ever. I know that sounds horrible,” she said with a laugh. “But it just happened. He’s amazing. I’m the first black girl he’s ever been with. It’s been interesting.”
