Claudia Jordan says she ‘misspoke,’ didn’t confirm Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are dating
Reality TV personality Claudia Jordan says she did not confirm long-running, frequently denied rumors that her good friend Jamie Foxx is dating Katie Holmes.
So close to confirmation. So close, so close and yet so far.
“I have no knowledge of Jamie with Katie at all. I’ve never seen them together, he’s never told me he’s dating her. ... Sorry to not have this bombshell story, but I cannot confirm that,” Jordan told “Entertainment Tonight.”
She told the outlet that she “misspoke” on the Tuesday podcast “Allegedly With Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss,” where she was quizzed by the hosts about the accuracy of the viral list of 28 men she’s allegedly slept with.
Foxx’s name was on the list — that hookup happened “never,” she said — and following her answer, one of the hosts asked if Jordan liked Holmes for Foxx.
“He is very happy with her,” the two-time “Celebrity Apprentice” alum said. “I like that he seems very happy.”
Jordan, who worked with Foxx on his Sirius XM show, told ET, “A lot of times, I get asked questions about celebrities — some I know, some I don’t — a lot of times we just give a safe, kind of generic answer.”
While outlets including ET and E! News say they have many sources backing up the story of Foxx and Holmes as a couple, Gossip Cop continues to rate stories about the couple — including tales about Foxx-Holmes weddings and babies — with a zero on its real-vs.-rumor scale.
“I guess people are really wanting someone to confirm this,” Jordan told ET, “and I’m sorry, but it’s not coming from me.”
