“Parks and Recreation” kicked off its final season up from last season’s premiere. But the return of Leslie Knope (played by Amy Poehler) and her cohorts didn’t lure more viewers than CBS’ Tuesday night lineup.

NBC aired two episodes of the sitcom back-to-back beginning at 8 p.m. According to Nielsen, both episodes averaged a rating of 1.5 in the key 18-to-49-year-old demographic, up 15% from last season’s premiere in September of 2013. The episodes tied for sixth-most-watched program of the night in the key demo.

About 3.7-million people tuned in to the season 7 launch. The episode that followed at 8:30 p.m. averaged 3.3-million viewers.
