The Crystal Method’s Ken Jordan sells house in Encino
DJ/musician Ken Jordan of the Crystal Method has sold his Midcentury Modern home in Encino for $1.65 million.
And what a Midcentury-style home it is. The pool area of the 1964 house has been featured in print ads for the series “Mad Men.”
The 3,368-square-foot home takes in views of the San Fernando Valley through its floor-to-ceiling glass doors and walls. The one-level home, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, has been upgraded with solar panels and a car charging station.
A star architect to celebrities
Jordan and Scott Kirkland formed their electronic music duo in the early 1990s. Their albums include “Vegas” (1997), “Tweekend” (2001) and “Divided by the Night” (2009).
The property previously sold for $1.33 million a decade ago, public records show.
Brian K. Courville and JB An Fung of John Aaroe Group were the listing agents. Angelo Fierro of the same firm represented the buyer.
