Ellen DeGeneres sells penthouse in Beverly Hills
Talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres is a whirlwind of real estate activity this year. Now she has sold a pied-a-terre in Beverly Hills for $843,900.
DeGeneres and spouse Portia De Rossi snapped up a $26.5-million estate in Santa Barbara County earlier this year and are selling their ranch in Thousand Oaks.
The 1,683-square-foot corner penthouse, which was listed at $899,000, features a living and dining area, an eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
A star architect to celebrities
DeGeneres, 55, and De Rossi, 40, bought the property in 2010 for $835,000, public records show.
Su-Z Schneider of Gibson International was the listing agent. Gregg Silver of Keller Williams Realty’s Beverly Hills office represented the buyer.
