Rashida Jones buys 40-acre mountain spread in Ojai
Rashida Jones of the current crime series “Angie Tribeca” has bought a retreat in Ojai for $3.2 million. She’s familiar to “Parks and Recreation” fans from her role as nurse Ann Perkins.
Set on 40 acres, the red-tile-roofed contemporary was built in 1996 as architect Thornton Ladd’s personal residence.
Some 3,500 square feet of living space includes a formal entry, a formal dining room, an eat-in kitchen, four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The kitchen floor tile matches that used at Pasadena’s Norton Simon Museum, which Ladd helped design. The living room has a beamed ceiling, a fireplace and built-in bookshelves.
Glass walls bring in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and countryside.
Jones, 40, starred in the 2009 film “I Love You, Man.” She is the daughter of musician Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton of the hippie cop “The Mod Squad” series, which ran from 1968 to 1973.
Rosalie Zabilla of Century 21 Troop Real Estate was the listing agent. Partners Trust represented Jones.
