Beck, Marissa Ribisi list Santa Monica house they bought four months ago
Musician Beck and his wife, actress Marissa Ribisi, have put a Santa Monica house they bought earlier this year on the market at $2.795 million.
That’s too small a price jump from the $2.711 million they paid — about 3% — to even cover commissions unless a bidding war ensues. (Looks like they won’t be giving up their day jobs for house flipping.)
The veteran singer-songwriter, 44, has turned his attention elsewhere this year, winning album of the year honors at the Grammys for “Morning Phase” and recently releasing his new single, “Dreams.”
They purchased the Tudor-style home in February and appear to have made liberal use of white paint throughout the 2,521 square feet of interiors. There are white living and dining rooms, a white den/office, a white kitchen with a white breakfast area, a white bonus room, four white bedrooms and three white bathrooms.
At the back of the boxy home, built in 1925, are mature trees and an expansive brick patio.
Ribisi, 40, was in such ‘90s films as “Dazed and Confused,” “Pleasantville” and “Some Girl.”
Simon Salloom of Coldwell Banker is the listing agent.
