Ex-NBA player Al Harrington lists his home with a basketball court in Calabasas
Former Indiana Pacer Al Harrington is keeping things moving in Calabasas.
The longtime NBA pro has listed his home for sale at $4.895 million. That’s about $1 million more than what he paid for the property three years ago, records show.
The five-bedroom estate sits on a approximately 30,000-square-foot lot in the guard-gated Oaks of Calabasas community. For reference, the grounds could hold more than six NBA-sized basketball courts.
Past a chandelier-topped two-story entry, the 6,797 square feet of living spaces hold a formal dining room, a center-island kitchen and a bright breakfast nook.
French doors open to a central courtyard with a fireplace. Beyond that, the spacious backyard features a covered lounge, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, pool and spa.
There’s also playground and sports court emblazoned with an “H”.
Howard Zuckerman and Meirav Leibovici of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties hold the listing.
Harrington, 37, spent 16 seasons in the league, including stints with the Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards. He was a high school standout and took home the Naismith Prep Player of the Year Award in 1998.
