Writers put their pens to a sales contract in Beverly Crest
Television writer-producers Ali Adler and Liz Brixius have sold their home in the Beverly Crest area for slightly more than $3.82 million.
Built in 1941, the main house takes its inspiration from the East Coast with shingled siding and dormer windows. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom home sits on about half an acre along with a guesthouse, a swimming pool, lawn and mature trees.
The 3,794 square feet of light-filled living spaces include a living room with walls of built-ins, a formal dining room, a family room, a den and an updated kitchen.
Brickwork surrounds the swimming pool and a circular fire pit.
The property previously changed hands three years ago for $3.295 million, public records show. Among other former owners was “Friends” writer and producer Scott Silveri.
Adler is the co-creator of the shows “Supergirl” and “The New Normal.” She is also a producer on “Dynasty.”
Brixius is a co-creator of and writer for the emergency room drama “Nurse Jackie.”
Jonah Wilson of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, was the listing agent. Alex Brunkhorst of the Agency represented the buyer.
