Caitlyn Jenner, the Olympic legend turned reality television star who came out as transgender last year, has revealed the title of her upcoming memoir: “The Secrets of My Life.”

In a Twitter post Monday, Jenner shared an image showing the title of the book and its publication date of April 25, 2017.

Jenner’s book deal was announced in January. The memoir is being co-written with Buzz Bissinger, author of “Friday Night Lights,” and published by Grand Central Publishing.

“Things have been moving so quickly that it will be nice to slow things down a bit and take the proper time to reflect on this journey,” Jenner said at the time. “I couldn’t pick a better team, in Grand Central and Buzz, to make sure this story is told with a lot of honesty and care.”

Jenner became an American superstar in 1976, when she (then named Bruce, and identifying as a man) won the gold medal in the men’s decathlon at the Montreal Olympics. Jenner was an athlete who immediately crossed over into pop culture fame, appearing on Wheaties cereal boxes and on network television in ads and as a sports commentator. In 1977, Sports Illustrated called Jenner “the Montreal Games’ most marketable hero.”

Jenner later became known to a new generation as one of the stars of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” a reality show about the three Kardashian sisters (Kim, Kourtney and Khloe) their brother Rob, their stepsisters Kendall and Kylie, their mother Kris and their stepfather Bruce.

Jenner later starred in the reality show “I Am Cait,” dealing with her life after coming out as transgender, for two seasons. It has since been canceled.

Bissinger wrote a profile of Jenner in Vanity Fair magazine last year. The magazine, which featured Caitlyn Jenner on its cover in a photograph taken by Annie Lieobowitz, caused a sensation. It had been just two months since she came out as transgender in a television interview with Diane Sawyer.

In an interview with Philly magazine, Bissinger said he’d been chosen to write the profile because of his background in sports journalism, and also because of his own experiences with “gender confusion.”

“I’ve cross-dressed in the past,” Bissinger said. “I wear women’s clothes, because it makes me feel sexual; I get a sexual turn-on from it. That’s not why she wears women’s clothing. She wears women’s clothing because she was born a woman.”

“The Secrets of My Life” will be the seventh book by Jenner. Her previous books, most recently “Finding the Champion Within,” were all published before her transition under the name Bruce Jenner.
