The tally of foreigners confirmed dead from the December quake and tsunami in southern Asia, according to their countries’ foreign ministries, as well as the number missing. Some countries include all foreigners who have failed to contact authorities in the count of those missing while others count only those known to have been present when the tsunami hit.
