A shooting at a private Christian school in Nashville has left at least three children and three adult staff members dead, authorities said Monday.
The shooter, described by police as a 28-year-old from Nashville , also was killed.
Police identified the three children killed in the attack as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney, all age 9; and the three adults as head of school Katherine Koonce, 60; Cynthia Peak, 61, a substitute teacher; and Mike Hill, 61, a custodian.
Families were reunited at Woodmont Baptist Church in Nashville after the shooting at the Covenant School.
