Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg became the first woman and the first Jewish person to lie in state in the U.S. Capitol on Friday. Ginsburg, who died on Sept. 18 at age 87, was the 107th Supreme Court justice and the second woman to serve on the high court. She was an influential icon to many, earning the nickname “Notorious RBG.”
