The Suzanne Somers takeover of Las Vegas starts with a show
Reporting from Las Vegas — Suzanne Somers is busy strutting her stuff on “Dancing with the Stars,” and now she has a new feather to add to her cap. The 68-year-old actress best known for her role as Chrissy Snow on “Three’s Company” just booked 28 weeks of shows at Westgate Las Vegas.
Her cabaret show “Suzanne Sizzles” that debuts on Saturday, May 23, promises a nightclub act that hearkens back to the Rat Pack days of Las Vegas.
Somers had a show in the same resort when it was still the Las Vegas Hilton in the 1980s. More recently, she’s performed at The Orleans in Las Vegas.
The revamped Shimmer Showroom, now called “Suzanne’s,” brings Somers performing songs from the “Great American Songbook” backed by a band.
The 70-minute show takes place five nights a week with tickets starting at $65.
But that’s not all that’s on the docket for the performer. Somers plans to open Suzanne Somers Spa with her own line of organic cosmetics, skin care and hair care products, as well as the Suzanne Somers Organic Spa Cafe, serving food based on recipes from Somers’ series of bestselling cookbooks, at the resort.
Tickets: Westgate Las Vegas box office, (800) 222-5361
