Pitbull bites into a seven-date residency in Las Vegas
Reporting from Las Vegas — “I say, y’all having a good time out there?”
Suave Miami rapper Pitbull surely will say that line more than once with his seven-date residency in Las Vegas starting in September.
The singer behind “Don’t Stop the Party” and “Anthem” takes over the 7,000-seat The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort with a show dubbed “Time Of Our Lives,” Sept. 23 through Oct. 7.
Mr. 305 already hit career sales of more than five million albums and 60 million singles worldwide, including his current album, “Globalization.” His 2009 hit, “I Know You Want Me (Celle Ocho)” was the most viewed video on YouTube that year.
Pitbull’s debut album “M.I.A.M.I.” (short for Money Is A Major Issue) came out in 2004 with Lil Jon as one of the producers. Coincidentally, Lil Jon has a residency at Surrender Nightclub in Las Vegas.
Tickets for the following Pitbull shows go on sale Friday, June 26: Sept. 23, 25, 26 and 30 and Oct. 2, 3 and 7. Tickets range in price from $39 to $169
Tickets: Ticketmaster
