Las Vegas: Olivia Newton-John to perform at the Flamingo
Pop star Olivia Newton-John will launch a “Summer Nights” residency in April at the Flamingo Las Vegas, performing 45 shows through the end of August.
Newton-John will perform beginning April 8 and on various dates through Aug. 30 in the Flamingo‘s Donny & Marie showroom.
The English-born singer and actress, known for musical hits such as “I Honestly Love You,” “Physical” and “Please, Mr. Please” has sold more than 100 million albums and has won four Grammys, among other awards. She has starred in such movies as “Grease” and “Xanadu.”
Tickets for the Vegas performances, from $78.50 to $155, are available online or by calling (855) 234-7469. A meet-and-greet package is available for $270.
Part of the proceeds from each ticket will benefit the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne, Australia, where her family relocated when she was a child. Newton-John was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and underwent a partial mastectomy.
