National park photo ops: In case of emergency, break glass — or just take a picture
Sometimes the best compositions just happen. While bouncing along on an old tour bus in Denali National Park & Preserve in Alaska, I looked over at a friend who was dozing off.
He was bored, and I was looking for pictures. The graphics of the emergency exit were calling to me and waiting for the proper scene to fill the rest of the window.
To get everything in focus, I used a very small aperture (f/32) — and got the picture I wanted.
