National park photo ops: In this Yosemite meadow and beyond, look for reflections
In Yosemite National Park, the ponds in Cook’s Meadow are great natural surfaces that reflect the surroundings in the Yosemite Valley. I always try to visit in May to see the dogwood blossoms, the green grasses in meadows, and the water. Get down really low to the water and use a tripod, cable release and a wide-angle lens at sunset. With a little luck and a lot of practice, all of the elements will come together.
