National park photo ops: How to frame Utah’s Balanced Rock
Balanced Rock, in Arches National Park, is a tipsy-looking formation that has been carved by the elements for thousands of years.
I included one of the many jet trails in my photo. I also experimented with a moonrise.
The rock is an easy compositional element. Build around it with different light, full moon, crescent moon, jet trails — let your mind wander.
