Ski, bike or do both this Fourth of July weekend at Mammoth Mountain. The California ski area reports that it will be open for top-to-bottom spring skiing through Monday for those who want to end the season on the slopes.

The Mammoth Lakes resort received 362 inches of snow at the main lodge during the 2015-16 season, according to the website.

There’s a 12-inch snow base at the 9,600-foot level and a 48-inch base at the top.

Two lifts – the Gondola and Facelift Express – will be open 7:30 a.m. to noon for skiers and boarders.

After that, you can hit the dirt on the resort’s Mountain Bike Park, which features five new trails to try this summer.

To do both in a day, Mammoth offers a discounted $99 ticket that’s good now through Monday.

Closer to home, sister resort Snow Summit in Big Bear Lake will host an Independence Day event called Above the Boom.

You can celebrate the holiday with a barbecue dinner and glass of Champagne, live blues music and a perfect viewing spot (at 8,200 feet) for the town’s fireworks that begin at 8:45 p.m.

Tickets cost $49 for adults and $19 for children 5 to 12 years old; children 4 and younger go free.
