Marvel’s Spider-Man, Captain America and Thor will sail with Disney next year
Mickey Mouse will make room for Spider-Man, Captain America and Thor when Marvel Day at Sea debuts next year on selected Disney cruises to the Caribbean and Canada’s east coast.
The Disney Magic plans to host Marvel comic book and film superheroes and villains on board seven cruises from New York in fall 2017.
The day includes meet-and-greets with Marvel characters; an upper-deck party with music, games and pyrotechnics; trivia games about the Marvel Universe; Marvel games and activities for young passengers; and screenings of Marvel films and TV shows while at sea.
Marvel Day is set for seven- and eight-night cruises leaving New York on Oct. 6, 14 and 28, 2017; and Nov. 4, 11 and 18, 2017. Stops on the cruises include Castaway Cay (Disney’s private island) and Port Canaveral, Fla.
It also is scheduled for a seven-night cruise of the Canadian coast that leaves Oct. 21, 2017, and stops at Charlottetown, Sydney and Halifax.
